Sizing Guide

Finding the right size ensures maximum comfort and support. Follow these steps:

• Stand upright in the shoes you typically wear.

• Let your arms hang naturally at your sides.

• Have someone measure from the floor straight up to the crease of your wrist.

• That measurement is your ideal total cane height.

• Match that measurement to the size chart below.

If your measurement falls between two sizes, choose the larger size. A larger size keeps more of the shaft inside the handle at your ideal height, for a more stable, fully-supported position. Custom sizing is available at no additional charge for heights 6'5" and above — contact us before ordering.

Proper Grip

For maximum support, rest your palm over the handle with your hand positioned closest to the main shaft, with the flashlight compartment facing forward in your direction of travel. The cane may also be held in the reverse orientation for personal preference.

Adjusting Cane Length

Insert the shaft into the handle and rotate until the laser-etched crosshair on the shaft aligns with the raised index mark on the handle collar. The detent pin holes are now correctly oriented for insertion. Fine-tune the height using the adjustment notches, extending the shaft approximately 2 inches beyond the ideal position if needed. For optimal stability, we recommend using the cane at or near the fully inserted position.

Pepper Spray Compatibility

THE AR-CANE is designed to pair with the P.O.M. clip and keychain OC spray models when used with the AR-CANE Pepper Spray Adapter, as well as the Mace® Brand Personal Pepper Spray Pocket Model. Due to its compact design, carry options, and overall integration with THE AR-CANE platform, P.O.M. is currently our preferred OC spray system. The AR-CANE Pepper Spray Adapter is sold separately or included with select packages.
